Infection & Wound Care

Rethinking how we manage infection.

9930 is building a new generation of infection- and wound-care solutions — combining advanced antimicrobial materials, sustained-release delivery, practical care systems, and data-supported decision tools.

Our goal is simple but ambitious:
To reduce the pain, complications, and human cost caused by pathogenic infection.
The Challenge

Infection care should be more proactive.

Infection remains one of the most persistent problems in care — across surgical recovery, chronic and slow-healing wounds, community clinics, and ordinary household injury.

The hard part is rarely reducing microorganisms at a single moment. What determines the outcome is how long protection lasts, whether the wound environment supports healing, whether the product is easy enough to use consistently, and whether the right care is available when it is needed.

We treat those as one connected problem rather than four separate ones, and we are building across all of them.

The Platform

Four capabilities, one system.

Most companies in this category do one of these things well. We are building all four so that each one informs the others.

01

Advanced materials

Antimicrobial chemistries and delivery matrices developed to stay where they are applied and keep working after first contact, rather than washing away with the next rinse.

02

Purpose-built products

Formats designed around how care actually happens — cleansing, protection, recovery — in forms that patients and clinicians will reach for without being told twice.

03

Care delivery

A product on its own is not care. In China we pair our products with trained service delivery across a network of care locations, which is how we see real use at real volume.

04

Data & intelligence

Structured records from manufacturing and service settings feed back into formulation, product design, and how we understand performance over time.

North America

Built for North America, from Delaware.

9930 Inc. is headquartered in Delaware. Our North American programs are run from here, with production carried out by our long-standing manufacturing operation in China to our own specifications and quality oversight.

We are pursuing established regulatory pathways — medical device clearance in the United States and natural health product licensing in Canada — beginning with a small number of well-defined products rather than a broad launch.

The sequencing is deliberate. Enter with narrow, defensible claims. Build the evidence. Expand from there.

Heritage

Four hundred years of practice behind a modern company.

The formulations we work from did not begin in a laboratory. They begin in a family practice of Chinese herbal medicine that has been treating wounds, sores, and skin conditions for roughly four centuries, refined by outcome across generations long before anyone had the tools to explain why it worked.

Our job is not to preserve that as folklore. It is to subject it to modern characterization, manufacturing discipline, and regulatory scrutiny — and to keep only what holds up.

Work With Us

We’re early, and we’d love to talk.

We're talking with distributors, clinicians, regulatory partners, and investors who are interested in this category. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.

Our Approach

Proven chemistry, better delivered.

9930 develops antimicrobial technologies grounded in well-characterized antiseptic science and modern formulation. Our contribution is less about discovering new active agents than about making established ones behave predictably where they are actually needed — on a wound, on skin, over time.

01

Start from chemistry that is already understood

We work with antimicrobial agents that have long safety and performance records in clinical use. Novel actives carry a regulatory and toxicological burden that rarely pays for itself. The interesting problems are elsewhere.

02

Delivery is where the difference is made

An antiseptic's usefulness depends on more than the active agent: how stable it is, how well it stays in contact with the surface, how gradually it releases, and what it does to the surrounding tissue. Those are formulation problems, and that is where our work concentrates.

03

Design for the regulator from day one

Every formulation decision is made against North American regulatory expectations — ingredient acceptability, testing burden, claim structure, manufacturing controls. Retrofitting a formula to a pathway is expensive. Designing into one is not.

04

Traditional formulations, modern characterization

Part of our portfolio originates in traditional Chinese herbal preparations. We treat those as starting hypotheses, not conclusions: standardized sourcing, defined extraction, characterized composition, and the same evidence bar we apply to anything else.

Technology Platforms

Four platforms under development.

Our development work is organized around four technology platforms. Each sits at a different stage of maturity. None is a finished product, and none carries regulatory authorization today.

Platform

MAP-9 Smart Antimicrobial Coating™

A surface-active coating system designed to deposit a thin antimicrobial layer that persists after application, with the aim of extending protection beyond the moment of contact.

Platform

Biomimetic nano-polymer delivery

Polymer carriers engineered to imitate the behaviour of biological surfaces, developed to improve how evenly an active distributes and how gradually it releases.

Platform

Colloidal hydrogel systems

Water-based gel matrices intended to hold a controlled moisture environment at the wound surface while carrying actives into contact with it.

Platform

Liquid-crystal film technology

Ordered film structures that form on application, under development for adherence, flexibility, and controlled release across irregular surfaces.

Products

A focused first line, built to expand.

Our North American line is organized into three families under a single brand. Every product below is in development; none is currently available for sale in the United States or Canada.

Family 01

Wound Care

A cleanser and an ointment designed to work as a pair: one to prepare and protect the wound surface, one to support the environment in which recovery happens. This family carries our lead regulatory programs and is where our delivery work is furthest along.

Wound Cleanser · Healing Ointment

Family 02

Skin Relief

Everyday irritation and compromised skin — insect bites, eczema-prone areas — in gentle formats intended for repeat use. These draw on preparations that have been in continuous use in our China portfolio.

Bite Spray · Eczema Ointment

Family 03

Foot Care

Washes and antifungal formats developed for high-risk feet, including the routines used in our China service network with patients whose feet need daily attention rather than occasional treatment.

Foot Wash · Antifungal

Development Status

Where things stand.

Two lead programmes are in active regulatory preparation. One is being developed toward medical device clearance in the United States; the other toward natural health product licensing in Canada. We chose those pathways because they are well-defined, they fit the products as designed, and they let us enter the market on narrow claims we can actually support.

Behind them sits a larger portfolio already manufactured and in use in China. Those products will be introduced to North America sequentially, selected for regulatory viability rather than commercial appeal, over a multi-year sequence that begins after our first approval.

Our Heritage

Rooted in tradition, built for modern medicine.

Four centuries of practice, passed down, tested by use, and now held to a different standard. Scroll through the moments that shaped the work — select any date to read more.

About

About 9930.

9930 Inc. is a Delaware-based company developing antimicrobial and wound-care products for North American markets, built on a manufacturing and clinical-service operation in China that has been running since 2015.

That combination is unusual, and it is the whole point. Most companies entering this category start from either research or distribution. We start from a working production base and a service network that already treats patients — which means our formulation decisions are informed by observed use, and our supply chain is not a partner we are negotiating with but an operation we are part of.

In North America the work is regulatory and commercial: bringing selected products through United States and Canadian pathways, standing up quality systems that meet those standards, and building the evidence to support broader claims over time.

We are a small team, and we are deliberate about what we say in public. We would rather under-claim and be believed than over-claim and be corrected.

How We Work

Three commitments.

01

Evidence over assertion

Heritage tells us where to look. It does not tell us what is true. Every claim we intend to make in North America has to survive testing designed to disprove it.

02

Patience over speed

We would rather enter one market properly than three markets provisionally. Our sequence is measured in years, and it is designed that way.

03

Quality is designed in

Manufacturing controls, ingredient sourcing, and documentation are decided at formulation, not bolted on before an audit.
